Transit Aspects

Astrological transits are a part of what is usually called predictive astrology, the claim of astrology to predict or forecast future trends and developments. Most astrologers nowadays regard the term 'prediction' as something of a misnomer, as modern astrology does not claim to directly predict future events as such. Instead it is claimed that an astrological pattern with regard to the future can correspond with any one of a variety of possibilities. This aspect between Neptune and the sun can create both positive and negative reactions. You may be feeling a little more spiritual, selfless, compassionate and helpful towards others. You may be more interested in the higher realms of consciousness or at least in metaphysical subjects such as astrology. This can make you an excellent mediator or a supportive influence where required. However, you also may lose touch with who you are if you become too caught up in the expectations of others. The sun is tied very closely to your ego and your vitality is also very connected the sun.
Most people will not be prepared for this transit when it occurs. This transit goes beyond your ego and that is where problems can occur if you are not ready for this period. This can include a dissipation of energy or energy that is going into other channels and seeping out from your ego and your vitality. You may feel extra tired or even psychologically distressed on occasions. It can be a very difficult time, especially for those who use drugs or alcohol frequently, as your body now will be much more sensitive and less able to resist a strain.
Try to take things as slow and easy as possible, you will not have the energy you normally have to do things. You will be more idealistic than usual so be sure to maintain a firm grounding or it will be easier to be deceived either by yourself or others.
