New Moon in Gemini
May’s New Moon in Gemini on the 26th holds a deep promise of evolution – mentally, emotionally and relationally.
It’s a multifaceted New Moon where anything is possible, as befits the sign of the Magician and Manifestor. Using the resources available to us, we are able to draw on Divine energy in order to create exactly what we desire.
So, what do we desire?
This is the eternal conundrum of the sign of the cosmic Twins. We want it all. Gemini’s habit is to voraciously gobble down a new thing, a hobby, a passion, a piece of information, glean all they can from the bones, and toss it away just as soon as they connect with the core of whatever it is they’re consuming.
This is not a bad thing. It’s certainly no reason for judgement.
Yet, if we’re constantly restless, in the search for more knowledge, more information, more experiences, is there ever any room for true Mastery?
Pluto supports this New Moon via a trine aspect. The Lord of Transformation demands that we focus our energy as intensely as possible towards our goal. That we magnetise our desires. That we pick and choose those desires with the greatest of care, selecting only those dreams which promise to change us from the inside out.
Pluto doesn’t play games: s/he doesn’t ‘do’ superficial. Pluto does not skim the surface. No, he dives deeper.
Approaching shadow work over these next few months with the mind to truly metamorphosize is what our souls yearn for is our work. Therapeutic processes, be they to dive into plant medicines, seek alchemical knowledge or enrol for that breathwork course in distant lands: this is the energy of the Gemini New Moon.
We no longer want to play small. Our minds are capable of so much more than we ever dreamed possible.
Mercury, as the ruler of this New Moon, is gracefully situated right next to La Luna and the Sun, encouraging our minds, lending his energy.
With his influence, we embody the Divine Messenger. Our thoughts arise directly from the Gods. They inspire. They influence. They create change. Words are our power in these coming weeks, as the New Moon comes to her full expression in several months. Names are powerful. They carry energy. Whatever we name, we create.
Our power now lies in the ability to, quite literally, manifest the reality we seek. We are nothing short of Gods and Magic Workers. When we harness our will to that of the Divine, and then have faith that whatever we place our energy into will manifest – well – this is the Art of Actualisation.
