The Obsessed Mind
The Obsessed Mind can show up when thoughts loop with intensity—often trying to regain control, certainty, or emotional safety. Rather than a fixed fate, it may reflect an inner strategy that once helped, but now overreaches.
Four areas of life it can affect:
1) Relationships: rumination, reassurance-seeking, or fixation on perceived slights can strain intimacy.
2) Work/Focus: mental “stuckness” can interrupt concentration, deadlines, and decision-making.
3) Self-worth: comparing, harsh inner dialogue, or repeating “what if” narratives can erode confidence.
4) Body/Stress: anxiety and tension may rise as the nervous system stays on high alert.
