You may hoard or withhold as proof that no one can touch what is yours, which is control, just inverted. You appear indifferent to your own worth while measuring yourself against it constantly.
The real developmental work is learning that sovereignty does not require extremes. You can value yourself without needing to shock anyone into recognizing it. You can receive, money, help, pleasure, commitment, without losing the part of you that refuses to be owned. The distinction is sharp: defiance is reactive; choice is generative. When you notice yourself spending, withholding, or refusing primarily to prove a point rather than to serve what you actually want, you are still in reaction. Real autonomy over your 2nd House means knowing what you want apart from what you are refusing.
