Emotional energies amplify at the beginning of March as Jupiter is Conjunct the Sun in Pisces. This can increase our sensitivities and creativity as well as feeling more empathetic to others in need.
An absolutely magical New Moon rises close to Noon at 12.35pm EST on March 2nd. There are a number of fascinating things about this New Moon, not least of all the repetition of numbers: the 2nd of the month, 2022, the fact that the Sun and Moon are both at 12 degrees, that Saturn and Mercury are also partile conjunct at 19 degrees of Aquarius, and that Mars, Pluto and Venus are all together at 27 degrees of Capricorn, another partile conjunction. Partile means “exact” and is very powerful cosmic moment for manifestation.
Both the rulers of Pisces – Jupiter and Neptune – are right beside La Luna and her consort, the Sun, supporting the cosmic lights in their endeavors. Jupiter is particularly powerful in his ancient home sign of Pisces, and thus, with this New Moon is a sense of joy and hope for the future. Anything seems possible, and that’s because it actually is – with the right planning and the willingness to transform. The tenderness of Pisces is being boosted with the edge from the Mars Pluto conjunction.
Mars enters Aquarius March 6th and suggests that you will assert yourself in an original, dynamic, intelligent, unorthodox, independent, resourceful, reformist, well-organized and inspired manner. Freedom of thought and action to 'do one s own thing' is of paramount importance. On occasion you can be changeable, stubborn and eccentric - perhaps even a bit zany.
Venus also enters Aquarius on March 6th where she dedicates her time to building relationships based on the proposition that everyone is truly created equal. You will feel more independent, and have a much more non-traditional approach to romantic and social affairs. It takes off the heavy seriousness that was brought on by Venus in Capricorn. Be more original, sparkling, glamorous this will make you socially popular.
Mercury enters Pisces on March 9th. We are more sensitive, just, sympathetic, good-humored, poetic, intuitive and imaginative mind, whilst being shy and reserved. Self-confidence is lessened in intellectual matters preferring to evaluate situations on the intuitive and imaginative level, feeling your way through our situation rather than reasoning and evaluating events. This placement of Mercury is powerful for creative endeavours of all kinds such as acting, writing, art, poetry, singing, music or humanitarian work.
There is a strong Full Moon in Virgo on March 18th and you may feel a bit cloudy when it comes to your views on life and yourself. Watch out for feelings of insecurity and low self-worth, find ways to nourish and fill yourself up with love and kindness. Let go of the opinions, judgements and criticism of others, and all that negative self talk – move out of the mind and connect back with your heart, allow this Full Moon to shine a light on any supressed emotions, traumas, childhood wounds, fears, and limitations that are holding you back from expressing your most authentic form of self
Aries Season begins on March 20th which also heralds the spring equinox and beginning of the new astrological year. The sun moves above the equator bringing more warmth and light to the Northern hemisphere while the Southern hemisphere moves into autumn, with less warmth and light. While the sun is in Aries for the next 4 weeks the energy will feel a lot more optimistic and energetic. It’s a great time to start new projects, new adventures, learn new skills and welcome in change.
