Draconic Chiron Opposition Sun
The draconic layer reveals what your soul was already organized around before this lifetime began. Chiron in opposition to your Sun at the soul level means you arrived constitutionally oriented toward a specific wound: the gap between who you are and who you are permitted to be. This is not a wound you acquired. It is the wound you came in carrying. The opposition structure itself—Chiron facing the Sun directly across the chart—means this wound is not hidden in shadow work or internal complexity. It is built into the architecture of your visibility. Every time you step into your own light, you meet the part of you that has never believed it belongs there.
The wound organizes around a particular kind of exposure. You may have spent years performing competence, certainty, or strength precisely because the draconic opposition taught you early that your actual self—uncertain, flawed, inadequate—was the thing that would be rejected. This is not about healing the wound through acceptance or self-compassion language. This is about recognizing that you have been running from yourself while calling it self-protection. You may notice that you sabotage moments of genuine recognition, pull back when someone sees you clearly, or find reasons to diminish your own accomplishments the moment they become visible. The sabotage is not self-sabotage. It is fidelity to the original contract: stay small enough to be safe.
What this opposition actually asks is harder than transformation language suggests. It asks you to stop trading your presence for safety. The wound was originally solving something: it kept you from the exposure that comes with full visibility. But you are no longer the person who needed that protection, and the protection itself has become the cage. The next move is not to heal the wound or integrate it. The next move is to notice the exact moment you begin to diminish yourself in front of someone who is actually looking at you, and to choose not to. Not because you suddenly feel worthy. Because you are tired of the performance. Watch for the impulse to explain yourself away, to make a joke, to redirect attention elsewhere. That impulse is the opposition speaking. You can feel it and stay anyway.
