But rather than use this to critique, to knock down arguments you don't agree with, use it to improve, to add to the arguments at play, and you’ll be appreciated for it. You’ll find yourself communicating well with people. In negotiations you’ll state your case clearly and objectively, and they should therefore work out quite well. Just remember to listen as well as you speak, as nobody who doesn’t feel heard will feel inclined to come to an agreement. Use your mental clarity to see find the idea that unites all the ideas being thrown around. It’s both the most desired and the most difficult thing for any group discussion to arrive at, but with focus and openness, you can be the one to bring it.
