April Monthly Horoscope
From April 3rd, we slow down and process information in a more practical, grounded and realistic fashion, as Mercury enters Taurus. Your personality will have more of a special attraction. People will see you for your real worth and value, which allows your relationships to deepen in the process. You will leave an impression on people with your pleasant communication skills and will be successful in forthrightly expressing yourself. There will be an aura of kindness, softness, and tenderness in your behaviour, and your logical abilities will also become more refined during this time.
Almost exactly on the heels of Pluto’s much-anticipated move from Capricorn into Aquarius, a Full Moon in balance-orientated Libra illuminates the skies on April 6th. This lunation brings to fruition beginnings seeded around September of 2022. What relationship-orientated themes can you see coming into play now? What needs to be changed so that greater equilibrium can be created?
For many of us, this Full Moon may be the final signal that we need from the Universe to change course. To set ourselves free. To realign with our relational values and let go of what isn’t working anymore. Because despite our best efforts, things simply don’t always pan out the way we hoped or planned for. Certain people or situations that we may be holding onto might not be the best fit for us, as painful as that may be to admit.
While Venus transits through Gemini from April 11th, you may feel more attracted to those that you can connect with on a intellectual and similar mentality level. Gemini energy is a lot more fast-paced and quick compared to Taurus, wherever you may have slowed down the past month in areas related to Venus: love, finances, values, material possessions and beauty, you may begin to see things pick up the pace again or feel a need to get the ball rolling again.
About a month ago, there was a New Moon in Aries at 0 degrees of the sign. Now, once again, there’s another New Moon in Aries on April 20th, but this time, at twenty-nine degrees. It is also a Solar Eclipse! This is important, signifying repetitive and powerful themes around independence, taking risks and embracing adventure in these next few months, or even years. The question to ask is what will you kick off during this powerful Eclipse? What have you never had the courage to do, and where have you avoided facing your fears? We are all invited to seize the reins and redirect ourselves onto the path that we were always meant to walk, even if that means leaving certain situations and relationships behind.
Also from April 20th, the Sun will transit the fixed earth sign Taurus. The focus of our journey will shift, leading us into building something valuable through consistent effort. We must honor the truth that anything worth having takes time to properly develop from inception to physical manifestation. No longer must we feel pulled into the ethos of grind culture; rather, the earthly wisdom of Taurus inspires a grounded and sustainable approach to productivity that is informed by the wisdom of the body’s senses.
With Mercury retrograde in Taurus, from April 21st until May 14th, our thoughts are likely to turn more and more towards these issues. Reviewing our relationship to money, for example, may be something to ponder upon. We might even face problems with these topics. A slowdown, so to speak. After all, retrogrades do tend to decelerate the natural progress of any planet, whilst at the same time, emphasizing their energy. With Mercury, there’s the usual miscommunication and potential misunderstandings, but only if we’re in a rush to make decisions or react before responding.
Fortunately, Taurus has a special, earthly wisdom that is simple, yet practical. What often seems like the most complicated issue can be solved by the most straightforward, down-to-earth solution. Because this is also a patient, methodical sign, it’s important to linger before we make up our minds. We need more time to think before we can commit to anything. We can’t be pushed, hurried up or persuaded before we’re ready.
