Transit Aspects

Astrological transits are a part of what is usually called predictive astrology, the claim of astrology to predict or forecast future trends and developments. Most astrologers nowadays regard the term 'prediction' as something of a misnomer, as modern astrology does not claim to directly predict future events as such. Instead it is claimed that an astrological pattern with regard to the future can correspond with any one of a variety of possibilities. What is in fact foretold is the trend of circumstances and the nature of the individual's reaction to the situation

Sun Transits

The Sun is the source of all energies. These energies stimulate the activities of the houses occupied by the transiting Sun and reinforce or weaken the planetary effects, depending on the Sun's aspect to the natal planet. When the Sun transits an inner planet, it may trigger a dormant aspect between that inner planet and a slower moving outer planet. If a planet is being transited by another planet when it is being transited by the Sun, the effect of the transit is strengthened.

Watch for the things that spike defensive reactions, for what makes you uncomfortable, and for what gets you excited and makes you want to talk. These can all be great teachers, they can guide as you figure out just who you are at this point in your path through life.
But, of course, our inquisitiveness should not only be turned inward, but also outward. You need to be aware enough to see how others are being affected by your behaviors.
It is a good time to consult others for advice. You will not benefit from keeping your problems to yourself and, in most cases, you will be harmed by it.
Just make sure, though, that you share your problems with those who want the best for you. Often even those closest to you can be too caught up in their own issues to be able to step into your shoes and see your problem for what it is to you. It’s not the worst flaw a friend can have, but it’s worth keeping in mind.
In your work you may have to deal with ego conflicts, and you may have to work with people you normally do not like. Don’t avoid confrontation, but rather get the problems out in the open.
A show of openness can often dissolve an ego conflict, as the other person realizes they have gotten into conflict with you based on a false impression of who you are. Openness disarms those who are well-intentioned but are laboring under false pretenses, so use it for your benefit.
